Set sail on one of most exciting Puerto Madryn whale watching tours through the gorgeous waters of Valdez Peninsula Patagonia! We'll pick you up right from your hotel in Puerto Madryn and transfer to Puerto Piramides, 100 km from Puerto Madryn, to board our whale watching boat. The captains and crew are specialized and will introduce all the passengers to the coastal and marine ecosystem, and you'll be assisted by the bilingual crew. This navigation is ranked as the most enjoyable nature tour in Peninsula Valdes. While on board, learn about the life cycle of the whales: mating, birth and upbringing of the calf. This unique experience let's us watch the whales in their natural habitat from the company's own vessels, with whale watching guides, biologists, excellent film crews and nature photographers. The whales come to the shores of the Golfo Nuevo and San José by the calm waters. They will transit some of the most important stages of their lives: copulate, give birth and raise their calves. Gestation time is approximately 11/12 months. Our tour begins along the coast, guided by our bilingual personnel, who will talk about the unique ecosystems by the coast and the sea. When we spot a whale, the boat engine will be shut off and the only thing that you will be hearing is the sound of the ocean and the occasional bird passing by. Then, you'll wait as the whales steadily approach the boat, getting up close to our vessel. Here you will experience a rare harmonious relationship with these amazing marine animals. Due to its characteristics, this activity has been developed exclusively in these latitudes of the planet and the staff have a professional specialization in this area.
